Hi welcome and thanks for stopping by!! Here you will find FREE tips and advice on everything about fitness from a mind, body and spirit perspective.  Kathie is a Certified Fitness Trainer, a Certified Specialist in Sport Conditioning, a Certified Specialist in in Older Adult Fitness, and a Certified Life Coach with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.

Kathie is an Ezine Expert Author and has been since 2007. She writes articles about health and fitness, life coaching, healthy recipes (What’s for dinner?) and working out in general. All of Kathie’s articles include different categories, Get in Shape Tips, Healthy Recipes and Life Coaching, just to name a few. You can click on the category button to see what may inspire you!

Kathie’s resume includes: the YMCA of Houston since 2000. She started first as a Water Aerobics Instructor where she quickly found fitness was her niche and became a Certified Fitness Trainer through International Sports Science Association- Professional Division.

Her love of her work with the Active Older Adults at the YMCA lead to her next certification as a Certified Specialist in Older Adult Fitness. Working with older adults led Kathie to become the lead trainer of  Active Older Adults (AOAs) in Richmond, Texas and she was the first instructor of Silver Sneakers© at this YMCA.

Her oldest son quickly rose the ranks of Little League Baseball (from 2002-2009) and so her next certification came along the same lines. She became a Certified Specialist in Sports Conditioning in hopes of working with athletes. And at about the same time she began training extensively at LA Fitness in Sugar Land. In November 2008 she landed an opportunity to open her own studio Body Designer Houston was then purchased by Kathie. There she uses the Thera-Plex Unit as the form of passive-active exercise. This is a circulatory workout as opposed to a cardiovascular workout.

She purchased the studio from Sally Nelson in 2008. And has 3 Thera-Plex Units in use at the studio. Body Designer Houston is now located in Richmond, just west of Houston.

Kathie enjoys helping others with this form of exercise. Anyone can do this type of exercise and it is very rewarding to see those reap the benefits. Kathie has helped hundreds of clients lose weight or helped those who may have been unable to exercise by using the Thera-Plex Unit. This is a great form of exercise for any body!!

Today Kathie  trains at the YMCA which is her “home gym”, and runs Body Designer full time, as well as teaching a few aerobic classes during the week.

This website is dedicated to Kathie’s hard work and concentration throughout the years on wellness of the mind, body and spirit. She will incorporate her wellness articles she has published throughout the years; as well as programs that she is affiliated with – along with reviews of these programs and products. Kathie is an Expert Ezine Author. There will be e-books to download, motivational tips, and just fun stuff as Kathie is all about fun.     Hi,
    I was wondering how much you would charge to advertise on your HEALTH related site. I am looking to place a small text based ad. If the price is affordable I may buy more than one over time. I usually ask for one line with just a few words. I prefer them at the top, middle, or bottom of the main content area of the site. However, I am sure we can work out placement.

    Please let me know what you would charge me to place a link ad on your site. If you are interested let me know the price and if you prefer PayPal or a check?
