Common Cause of Fatigue

Have you been feeling fatigued for quite some time, but have no other strange symptoms? Has your doctor found nothing “wrong” with you? Are you over-weight and under-exercised? Being overweight, especially obese, and being under-exercised are perfect recipes for persistent fatigue.

Even being 30 pounds overweight, not necessarily 100 pounds overweight, can cause pervasive fatigue in sedentary people. The cure is not a pill. It is exercise and eating healthier.

Though certain medical conditions, as well as side effects from a variety of prescription drugs, can cause fatigue, you must evaluate your body weight, exercise habits and eating habits to get to the bottom of the problem. For instance, obesity and lack of exercise can lead to a pre-type 2 diabetes state, which in turn can cause excessive fatigue.
